Our Weekend!

This weekend was SO much fun!!! We didn't really have a whole lot of plans, so we got to relax some! On Friday, Addi and I kicked off the weekend by going to storytime at the library. I have to say, although it was fun, I'm not sure we will go back during story time. The lady that led it was pretty impatient and kinda mean. She got on to Addi for touching her felt board. Just touching it. And when Addi squirmed in my lap and kinda whimpered because I wouldn't let her get up, she would just glare at her. It really rubbed me the wrong way, but maybe I'm just a momma bear. Anyways!!! Addi did have a blast coloring with sweet Ava.
Poor gal took a hard nap in the car that afternoon! She will sometimes get nap lines from her carseat straps. The signs of a GOOD nap! :)
I've been making Addi these things called monster smoothies. It's great for kids who won't eat their veggies! Here is the recipe:

1 Banana
4-5 strawberries
handful of blueberries
1 heaping cup of spinach leaves
splash of milk
1 Tbsp of greek yogurt
2 Tbsp of honey
1/2 cup ice

I found the recipe on Pinterest of course, here. I also added some carrot juice for an extra veggie dose. She loves these things and I couldn't be happier. I get SO worried that she's not eating enough of the right things, so this is perfect.

Friday night, Josh and I had a little at home date night. We went and ate pizza with friends, but once we put Addi to bed, we watched Moneyball. Josh saw this twice in theaters and really wanted me to watch it. I'm so bad about sitting still and not checking my email or getting up to do something. Haha! So I unplugged for a few hours and really enjoyed this movie!

On Saturday, Josh let me sleep in and he made breakfast. SO nice. :) I love waking up to the smell of bacon. Haha! We had a really relaxing day, which was great. That night, we went out to dinner with some other friends. Addi requested we go for ice cream afterwards, and you know we couldn't say no to that! :)
Okay, I have to share something with y'all. There is this etsy shop called the laughing giraffe. I have been drooling over these dresses for so long! I finally broke down and ordered me and Addi matching ones. I am SO excited!!! I've always wanted us to match and these are just the cutest!!!
Sunday morning, I made blueberry muffins in my cake pop maker. They turned out really good!
Addi was doing the Tebow dance I taught her! Haha! Just ignore that eyesore on the wall there.
Sweet girl!
We went to Josh's grandma's house for lunch and she showed me this quilt that she is working on for Addi. I LOVE it because each of the squares is made with leftover fabric from Addi's outfits she has made. How special is that?! I know Addi is going to cherish that one day.
Okay, don't laugh too hard! Yes, that is me...in a onesie. Haha! We had a slumber party Sunday night and busted out the one pieces!
These are my best friends, Treece and Mia! We have been bff's since high school. I love these girls so much.
And not a whole lot has changed since high school either. ;)
BROWNIES.
Today, we went to the Old State House Museum for a really neat exhibit. This is our civil war pose. Did y'all know that I have a degree in history???

After the museum, we went and got pedicures.

Such a GREAT weekend!!!!!!!!!
