Weekend Catch-Up

Hi friends! We had a fun weekend celebrating Josh's birthday! Except poor josh didn't get to celebrate because he got the stomach bug from me. :( Isn't that terrible? More on that later.

So josh got hit Wednesday night. I felt so bad for him!!! I hate stomach bugs, but I'm thankful addis was very mild compared to ours.

Thursday, we went to lunch with some blog friends! Leah, Kim and Ashley! I didn't remember to get a picture but it was a lot of fun. :) I was craving a white cupcake with thick buttercream so Addi and I made a little trip to community bakery.

Thursday night josh was still sick and I had no clue what to eat for dinner, so I went to fresh market and rounded up these goodies.


Thankfully on Friday, Josh's actual birthday, he felt well enough to go get some lunch. Addi entertained herself with my camera. Ha!





Ok so this is where I feel really bad. We had planned to go as a big group to the capital hotel again to celebrate Josh's, Treece and Mia's birthdays. Josh skipped to not risk getting anyone sick.








And Ben stein was there!!!!!!








It was a total blast and josh was missed.


Saturday, we had friends over to cookout.





Ribs, wings and all the fixins!!! Yum!

Josh and Addi took an epic nap Sunday afternoon.

Catch-Up

This week has been a doozy! It wasn't off to a great start. Sunday night, I was violently ill with what we assume was food poisioning. Oh EM gee. It was miserable and there was no phenergan in the house. I finally got some sleep starting about 5 a.m. Thankfully, josh was able to stay home some and was a huge help.

This is the only picture of Addi I took this weekend.


I got around to making the rest of her summer wardrobe. That was fun. :)


Tuesday, we went to this little restataunt called all aboard. It was a blast for Addi!


We got to see sweet nancy and Karen!





Sad we had to leave.


Also? Addi has been sleeping horribly lately. Multiple nighttime wakeups and trouble going to sleep. Good for her she's a daddy's girl and he let's that stuff fly. :)

She did take a nap in my bed this afternoon and stayed there. Which leads me to wonder, is she ready for a toddler bed???

Tonight we got fro yo. Addi created this combo, then only ate the gummy bears. Ha.

I'm Blue

If you follow me on twitter, you probably know that a few days ago, I had blue hair. Yes. Blue. Let me take you on a little hair journey.

This was my hair Sunday.



Bam!!!! Caesar Flickerman level hair! My hair had a very strange reaction to some new color and decided it would like to be grey, then blue. Not cool.


Thankfully, Jeanette made it look normal again, although I was contemplating just embracing the blue. It was dark times.


Addi is the sweetest. She said my hair was pretty.


Wednesday night, we went and got Treece registered! It was a blast and super exhausting. It also made me want a baby pretty bad. Haha!

All Aboard!

Today, Addi and I went with our Playgroup downtown for a fun filled morning. We started off by riding the trolley. Addi LOVED this. It went over the bridge and all through the downtown area. She called the big buildings, "castles." :)





So excited!


Next stop was the Peabody hotel to watch the ducks. This is a fun tradition the hotel has. Every morning at 11, the ducks come down the elevator and march down to the fountain. It's so cute!

We walked around the rivermarket some and then ate lunch and rode on the trolley some more. It was so fun. I didn't feel like cooking tonight, so we went to loca Luna for dinner. Very good! I got back wrapped turkey filets.


Then we went and got some fro yo! Addi pretty much only ate the marshmallows we put in there. Haha!
