Past Week Catch Up

This past week was a busy one! Getting ready for Addi's birthday party and we had something almost everyday. I got a mounted flash for my camera and I'm LOVING the higher quality of pictures it takes.

 This is Addi's creepy face.

I put Addi in this little outfit, and she looked adorable, but SO grown. :(
I got to meet sweet Nathaniel!!!
He is the sweetest thing.
Outfit courtesy of Suburban Strut's help!
On Friday we had Addi's yearly nutrition appointment. She has been doing this since she was 2 months old! It's a really neat study that is 6 years long and it looks at breast fed, formula fed and soy fed babies and compares their growth and brain development. Super cool and for the first year we received free diapers! I'm also involved in another study that looks at second time moms (BF/FF/SF) and it tracks our weight gain and then the babies growth and development up to age 2. It's more of a, if the mom keeps a healthy weight will the child have less of an increase of obesity type study. It's keeping me a little more conscientious of what I'm eating this pregnancy. I haven't had much of an appetite and therefore I haven't gained any weight so far. It shocks me, but we are off to a good start!

Addi did SOOOO great. I had Josh come with me, because at her two year visit, we actually had to leave and come back and finish because Addi threw the biggest fit. This time, she was so willing to do everything and did wonderful! We were so so proud.

This is during brain lab. It looks freaky, but it's just little sponge wires on a cap and she sits there for 30 mintues (while watching Toy Story) and listens to different sounds and it measures brain waves. One of the tests showed pictures of objects/animals and half the time the word would say the right thing that the picture was, but the other times it would be some weird made up word/sound. For some reason one of the words sounded so funny that Josh and I couldn't quit laughing. And once I saw him laughing it made me laugh even harder, but we had to be SO quiet!!!! I had tears and was shaking from the giggle fits.
 Hand scan.
During lunchtime, Addi got to play in this super cool room.
 Bahahahahaha.
The last two Sundays, we've gone to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat and watch football. My biggest craving this pregnancy has been football. I CAN'T GET ENOUGH. So weird.
Addi made the biggest mess with her birthday cupcake. EEK.
 Gangsta.
13 weeks!
A pretty good week! :)
