Play Dates and Toilet Water

Yes, judging by the title of my post, your in for a doozy. Today, we went over to our good friend Sara's house for a play date! I actually got a little lost on the way there, it happened the last time I went to her house also, so maybe the next time I go, I will actually get there on time. Ha! Anyways, so Addi played her heart out and I partook of some delicious white chicken chili. It was yum.

Then there was a goldfish free for all.

And then...it happened. I had noticed earlier that Addi was playing with one of Rylan's empty cups. She was using it to carry little toys around in. A little while later I noticed she was drinking what appeared to be water out of the cup. I though, "hmmm...I wonder who gave her water?" Then a little while after that, I hear "uhhh Ashley, come here!!" And I go and see my daughter scooping water out of the toilet and drinking it. I was horrified and immediately grabbed her and started wiping her face and hands. She had spilled a large majority of the water on the front of her shirt, so *maybe* she didn't drink too much of it. Sara reassured me and told me she had just cleaned the bathroom that morning, so hopefully Addi won't get any weird bacteria. Anyways, so since she was soaked and I didn't bring a change of clothes, Addi sported this little number from Rylan. The thing is, she looked pretty darn cute even in boys clothes!

After I recovered from the incident, we continued to have a great time. I just made sure the bathroom door stayed shut the rest of the time we were there.

In this picture, Addi is giving Layla what appears to be either a choke hold or a hug.

Sweet Nancy.

Cuddly Max.

Harper and Addi were loving on baby Macy. They both LOVE babies.

We had a great time Sara, Rylan and Max! Thanks for letting us come over!

After play group, we ran to Hobby Lobby to fuel my new addiction. I must show you what I made tonight.

But get this...it's reversible!!!

Ahhh!!! I just love it and I'm so proud of it. I think it's just the cutest thing.

Hope y'all had a great day!
