Last Week

We had such a fun week! A little busy, but still good. Tuesday, I had a doctors appointment so I dropped addi and Rhett off with josh. But first, josh got me lunch at this new place called slim chickens. It's sooo good! I love a good chicken strip. I loved the kids in their matching outfits. :)

Wednesday, addi was being so sweet and read some stories to Rhett before we got up for the day. We went to searcy later on and Jeanette did my hair. That night, we went to Larry's pizza with our bible study group. Always a fun time!

Thursday was gymnastics and addi had a blast. She got a big attitude when it was time to leave. Whew! Thankfully the rest of the day went great. We put Rhett in the bumbo for the first time and he loves it!

Friday we went and had lunch at addis school with Michelle, lily and miles. So much fun!!

Rhett-1 Month

*Let's pretend that I took this photo when Rhett was one month old, not almost two months. I have a one month picture with his little stickers, but it's not very good quality. :)

Gosh, this month has been such a blur. Time is going by so fast and I can barely keep up!

This month you are:
-sleeping about 3 hours at a time. I think my body has finally adjusted to that and it's not so bad to wake up that often anymore. You go back to sleep right after. There have been a couple nights you have had a four hour stretch.

-You nurse about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. You take bottles too and haven't had a problem going back and forth. You have been spitting up quite a bit which is so odd because your sister never spit up.

-You are so gassy!! Haha! Not in a painful kinda way, but you just toot alot. Boys!

-You love your swing. You sleep in it at night and take naps in it. We swaddle you up and you go right to sleep.

-Everyone comments on how much hair you have! You are a handsome little fella!

-Your eyes are such a gorgeous shade of blue, they look just like Addi's!

-You weigh 10 lbs. 6 oz. Little chunk! :)

-You are in size 1 diapers and your 0-3 month clothes are getting too tight/short.

-You love being outside in the sun. Being warm is your favorite. :)

Mother's Day 2013

I had such a great Mother's Day! My two little blessings made it so special. I love being their mom. This picture cracks me up! Rhett is crying and I have no idea what face Addi is making. Haha!

 We spent the day in Searcy and went out to Mi Ranchito for dinner that night with Josh's mom.

Tuesday snapshots

Parks and School buses

Today was gorgeous! We went to the park and met up with some friends. Addi played hard for a solid two hours while her brother napped just as hard. Ha! When we got home, addi and I sat on the front porch and watched all the school buses drive by. Such a fun day!

Weekend recap

The rest of our week was pretty fun. Addi one night dressed up as Cinderella and asked josh to dance with her at the ball. Sweetest thing.

Rhetters smiled at us for the first time! Addi is always talking to him and is do interested in what he's doing. He doesn't care for tummy time but she keeps him company. :)

Friday we went to Larry's pizza with our playgroup! This is always so fun and the kids have a blast and usually get stuck in one of the machines. Hahahaha!

Friday night, josh went and got us a peanut butter hot fudge butterfinger shake from sonic. Delicious.

Saturday was full of good good and baby snuggles. Rhett and I napped all afternoon while josh and addi went shopping. :) addi pretty much made it her goal to torture Rhett this day. Haha! She played doctor on him and then told us she was going to toot on his head. Mercy.

Sunday we went to searcy for dinner. Jeanette's stepmom cooked a big Peruvian meal and it was so good.

It was a great relaxing weekend. The best!!

Farmers Market Visit

Today was the first day the farmers market has been open! We went downtown to visit and eat lunch with our playgroup. Addi picked out two tomatoes for josh and has been SO excited to give them to him. Haha!
