When we got home, Addi and I made shrinky dinks! I had NO clue what these were and just picked them up at Walmart the other day, because hey, it's something Christmas-y and crafty. MY MIND WAS BLOWN!!!! They start out as large to medium sized pieces of paper and you color them, then put them in the oven and it shrinks them to minuscule petite little ornaments! Haha! I know you are probably thinking, "sheesh, this girl needs to get out more." or "what moron doesn't know what a shrinky dink is???" Haha!
Does anyone else out there have trouble with not laughing while you are disciplining your toddler? Addi always does something to make me laugh or crack a smile right in the middle of getting on to her. It never fails! Tonight, she was slinging a soaking wet washcloth and I was telling her not to, and then she started laughing so hard, which made me laugh so hard and before I knew it, neither of us could breathe and the entire bathroom was soaking wet. She also mimics my "look" that I give her. She knows when she's in trouble and she'll usually run off with her hands behind her booty, but sometimes she will do something she's not supposed to and give me "the look" which makes me crack up. Little toot. :)

I was so sad to miss out on Larry's, but I'm off wheat, dairy, AND soy these days...ya know, pretty much everything that actually tastes good...and Larry's would've been just plain torture for me. :(

I didn't know what Shrinky Dinks were until I saw them at Michelle's, so maybe Michelle is the only one that knows about them. ;)
