Pre-Halloween Festivities

Yesterday evening, we went to Boo at the Zoo!
Addi was a little reserved when we first got there, and just took it all in for a little bit.
 We rode the carousel first.
It didn't take long for her to warm up!
Her and Josh went down this slide a ton!
Josh actually couldn't ride this with her. The man came and made him get off, but Addi did great by herself!
On the Haunted Train. Poor lamb squeezed her eyes so tight during the last few minutes of the ride. There was a snake thing that kinda popped out and that scared her. And then at the very end there were some people in masks that jumped out. I'm glad she had her eyes shut for that! I had to make a conscious effort not to hit anyone. Reflex!
 Getting her face painted.
 She chose a pumpkin!
Addi really wanted to go to this climbing sort of play place thing they had set up, it looked too old, but she insisted and there were some kids her age on it. Bless her heart, she jumped in the ball pit and was trying to get out about the time this little boy in a Scream mask was jumping in. He didn't mean to scare her, but it frightened her SO bad. She got out of there so quick with tears just streaming down her face. I felt so bad. She calmed down pretty quick and we told her it wasn't real, some kids just choose to dress up like scary people, just like she chose to dress up like Rapunzel. She kept talking about it very matter of factly the rest of the night. Thankfully, she hasn't mentioned it at all today.

After that incident, she kept saying, "I wanna dance!" So we took her to this little pavilion and she danced for a little bit. :)
This morning was her Fall Festival school! She had talked all month about being Spiderman, but changed her mind to Rapunzel. Whatever makes her happy!
Lunch with Daddy later on after school.
I promised Addi if she took a good nap, we would do some Halloween crafts and make cookies. She was so excited to use her new scissors and glue stick!

Hope y'all had a great day!!!

Weekend Recap

On Friday, it was super cold and gloomy so Addi and I basked in the glory of a much needed pajama day. We were beyond lazy and it was wonderful. I had to spend much of the day on the couch because of a pesky UTI (again) and Addi couldn't have been more well behaved.

We had a little impromptu photo shoot when she was showing me her "feelings" she learned in class. More pics to come, but here are a few.
This is her mad face.
This is her happy face.
This was taken right after she spun around in circles for a good minute. So pretty.
She loves for us to play with her toes.
Mia came for a visit! We were happy to see her.
Saturday was Lily's birthday party day! Michelle had it at a local pumpkin patch and it was SO much fun. It was chilly but I would rather it be cold than hot. It was perfect.

These two were pretty much inseparable the whole time.
 Addi's first little boyfriend.

I told Josh she is too young to be looking at boys like this, but isn't it just the sweetest??
Addi got to pick out a pumpkin. She said she wanted to take it home and make a jack o lantern like Special Agent Oso.

Rylan is never too far away from a hug!
 Cool corn pyramid thing.
 Sweet Brilie was there too!
We were saddened to tell Rylan that he and Addi both couldn't fit in the cow train.

 Cupcakes with the birthday girl!

When we got home I made Addi this cool craft thing that I saw one of my much more talented friend, Amy do. Hers is way cuter so go there for directions. Haha! Addi still had a blast putting on the eyes and nose and mouth pieces.

Addi was pretending to take a nap for us.
 Nope! Haha!
Sadly, the Razorbacks lost to Ole Miss. I think everyone is just pretty much over this season and it is just a numb feeling when we lose now. It's almost expected. Oh well. Next season will hopefully be better. Bobby Petrino is still number one on my list of people to punch in the face.

We did have fun over at Brent's house after the game. The guys cooked up a feast for Nandini's birthday. Addi and Lucia played so hard and provided much needed entertainment for all of us.
The girls helped Nan blow out her candles.
And Brent provided a tunnel for the girls to run through. Haha!
Pretty soon it was time for some yoga.
And then for some fake naps.
Today we went to Searcy for Rhen's wedding shower! Addi was such a handful!!!! I was so stressed out. She was running all over the place in this gorgeous house and when I would try to grab her to tell her to stop running she would either go limp or run faster. Agh!!! Luckily, Michael was there and Addi was excited to play with him.
Of course, the whole way there and back she didn't nap, but 5 minutes from home and she passes out into the deepest sleep. We carried her in, the dogs licked her and we were talking and she never moved.
When we tried to move her to go to dinner, she just passed out again right on Josh's arm. Poor girl. We did make it to dinner finally. Josh and I were both craving Sushi Cafe and it hit the spot!
I also have to brag on Josh. While I was at the shower, he did several loads of laundry, vacuumed and cleaned the oven. YAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

Hope y'all had a great weekend!!
