So if you can't tell by the post title, I am trying to fit in most of the things that have happened this week since I haven't blogged that much. Monday night, I made enchiladas using Philly Cooking Creme. It's this new item in grocery stores that comes in four different flavors and it is SO good. I posted the recipe here. We had homemade guacamole to go with it and it was DELISH. I could eat Mexican food everyday and that would be fine.
I had to show y'all this video. Addi LOVES to dance and she just looks absolutely crazy when she does. She really gets into it and I'm not sure where she picked up these dance moves because I've never seen anything like it! I really need to get a flip video because the quality is terrible!
Tuesday night, we went out to eat with Josh's mom for his birthday. We decided to go to Capers and it was delicious as usual. Last time we went, we got to sit outside and it was really nice and Addi was very well behaved. This time, since it was about to storm, we sat inside and Addi was a mess. Luckily, there weren't many people in the restaurant, but Addi made sure that all eyes were on her. I think she gets mad if people aren't paying attention to her, so before we left she had made friends with a table next to us full of older couples. They thought she was so sweet, but we were pretty embarrassed! We let Addi play outside some before we left. I'm glad we did because she hasn't been able to since. It's been rainy and yucky here for days! I'm so over it!
Wednesday, we went to see Hillary's new baby, Sadie. Oh my goodess, Sadie is just a ball of sugar. She is so sweet! Addi got to hold Sadie and it was SO precious. She's been saying, "baby" ever since. So sweet.
Wednesday night, was Josh's birthday party! We did a big fish fry and a bunch of our friends came over to celebrate. I was so thankful for Scott because he fried everything and did all of the work! I did make a banana pudding at Josh's request. I use the Paula Deen, not yo momma's banana pudding. It is so good if you've never tried it. I used to not be a big fan of banana pudding, but this is wonderful. It uses shortbread cookies instead of nilla wafers. I'm really sad I didn't get pictures of the actual food, but it was amazing.
Today, we had an Easter playdate over at the house! Again, I was really disappointed, because I was hoping that the kids would be able to play outside, but it was a rainy day again. We did have fun indoors, and Addi was in baby heaven.
The food was SOOO good. We had made enough thinking more people were going to be there, but a couple of things came up so it was just four of us, but it was still TONS of fun! I had a blast sitting and talking with everyone!
Oh, and sweet Sara made Addi this Easter bucket. I am in LOVE with it!!! I think it is just the cutest thing and it's something she can use over the years. Thank you Sara!!!
Hope y'all had a great day! I am praying for some sunshine tomorrow!

I don't like Capers..the last time I ate there a tornado was coming and we were all made to go outside and wait it out in the back..I havent been back since lol.
I'm so sad we missed today, but my poor girl's still soooo sick and oozy and miserable. :( Looking forward to healthfulness and less rainy stuff and seeing you guys next week!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI got a video of Connor spinning today!!!! He has never done it before and he thought he was the funniest thing ever!
ReplyDeleteThose enchiladas look amazing!
You better get a flip camera soon...they are going to stop selling them! The Flip company was bought out and the new owners aren't going to keep making them. They are phasing them out.
