Christmas 2011 Part Two

After we played and took naps, we got ready to go to Searcy for Christmas Eve at Josh's grandparents house. She always does lots of finger foods and desserts and it's sooo good. I made cake balls this year and buffalo chicken dip!
The spread. Josh's dad also did ribs that were divine.
Christmas cookies!
Addi was a fan of the cake balls, until she got to the actual cake part.

Bahahaha!
Sweet girls.
Check out my new Razorback hat! Haha!
Dezra brought their sweet dog, Eliot. Addi just absolutely loved him! He is the sweetest dog.
Puppy hugs!

Josh reading the story of the birth of Jesus from Luke.
At the end, Addi started singing (very loudly) the "B-I-B-L-E" song. So funny.
Papa was good this year!
Josh's grandma got a monogram machine for Christmas! She's worried she's going to be doing both the sewing and monogramming now for Pumpkin Butter Kids. Haha!
The kids got together and had this buck mounted for Josh's grandpa. He shot it 30 years ago! I got his reaction on video and it is so sweet. At first he didn't recognize it, but it just took him a second and he realized it was the one from that long ago! So cool!
Family picture!
Addi and Aunt Rhen.
Once we were done there, we hurried back to the house and got Addi down then took off for a Christmas Eve candlelight service at church. Thank you to Josh's grandpa for sitting with her while we were there. :)

That's it for part two! :)

Christmas 2011 Part One

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!!! We are back from all the traveling and slowly but surely getting things back to normal. Our house is a war zone right now. I usually clean before we leave to go out of town, but there just wasn't enough time, so compact that with an explosion of presents and it's just downright chaos.

Let me start with the day before Christmas Eve. We decided to do our Christmas, Christmas Eve morning since we would be going to Searcy that night. We ran around taking care of last minute errands and things like that.

We kicked the night off with a little trip to Starbucks.
Belle really enjoyed her new rawhides.
This is why I needed the Starbucks! Lots of last minute wrapping went on.
While I wrapped, Josh and Addi watched the rest of Frosty the Snowman and munched on some cookies.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care!
After the peanut went to bed, Josh started assembling.
Addi's Santa gifts!
An easel. It has a chalkboard on the back.
A princess tent. She calls it a house.
A teacart complete with Mrs. Potts and Chip!
Josh's pile.
Addi's pile from us.
My pile. Josh did good on the boots!!!
Look at our lazy dogs. They cannot stay up late!
I couldn't wait for Addi to wake up and see her presents! She went bananas over the tent.
I found this Marcel the Shell book on Amazon. So weird, but hilarious.
I had anticipated that this set of princess Barbies would make her lose her mind, but she got overwhelmed and didn't really react to them till later. She loves them now! :)
And then she wouldn't open her stocking. Oh little toddlers. ;)
She did spend a good chunk of time playing with her easel.
We finally just opened her stocking for her. She's terrified of the miniature Simba and Nala figurines.
Josh opening presents!
Like I said, she stayed in this tent for most of the day. She would take her Barbies in and out!
And she loved the tea cart too. :)
That's it for part one!

Christmas Card 2011

Merry Christmas from the Eichhorn's!

Playgroup Christmas Party!

Yesterday we had our playgroup Christmas party! It was so much fun!! Lots of yummy food, great friends, and fun times. Our best friends from Tulsa were in town and spent the night with us! Hadley and Addi had SO much fun, and I loved catching up with Janelle! I have to show y'all, as you know, yesterday was so scary, Addi pulled the dresser on herself. Well, that evening, I was trying to get us out the door to go to dinner and I couldn't find my keys (Janelle ended up finding them inside our nutcracker...) and I walked down the hall to find Addi finger painting with her toothpaste. I was just past the point of even caring and ignored it until Josh got home. Haha! The other day I was telling someone how easy Addi is. I should not have said that!!! I love her beyond measure, but this girl is just coming up with new shenanigans to get into every day!
Sweet girls at dinner!
Delicious ZaZa's salad.
Onto the party food! Chex mix.
Candied pecans.
Cracker candy.
Sugar cookies.
Cream cheese sausage balls. YUM.

Sweet little Max.

Decorating sugar cookies!

Operation no paci begins after Christmas!!!
Chatting! Haha!
We had a blast everyone!!!! Thanks for coming!
