Birthday Eve...

First, I'm SOOO excited our shows start back tonight!!! We watch: Community, The Office, 30 Rock, and The League. I used to watch Grey's, but it kinda got to be too ridiculous.

Today we hung out with Sara and Lola! We first went and grabbed some lunch at Chick-fil-a, always a good choice, and then headed back to our house. Sara is extremely talented and very creative, and I needed help decorating our table for the party! Haha! Let me just say, it looks AMAZING!!! She also made a bow for Addi's shirt, a hairbow to match the shirt, AND...she taught ME how to make bows too! I took step by step pictures so I wouldn't forget! Haha!

While we decorated the girl's had fun playing. When we first came in, sweet Lola was asleep in her carseat, but Addi really wanted her up!



Poor Lola! She had no choice to wake up since Addi was poking at her face.


Addi was obsessed for some reason with Lola's car seat. She fell out of it several times, but she just kept climbing back in it!



The girl's had a great time watching The Lion King...for about 5 seconds. Ha!


They also had a fun time playing with the rocking horse.



Things were going great, but the girl's were getting pretty tired, Lola was in her car seat, and Addi thought it would be a good idea to start taking Lola's paci out and then shove it up her nose. Haha! Then she started pulling Lola's hair and LAUGHING while she pulled it! I swatted her little hand and said, "NO!" and she just giggled. Oh me, so I'm sorry Lola that Addi pulled your hair!


So I was thinking what I was doing a year ago today. Y'all are going to laugh, but I had a doctor's appointment the day before and my doctor told me I was probably going to have to be induced. Keep in mind, my due date was the 26th so I hadn't gone over, but I had a severe case of PUPPS. The soonest she could induce me was Oct. 4th. I was SO depressed after the appointment, I had for sure thought I was having a September baby and I was so ready to meet Addi, and I was itchy and actually in quite a bit of pain, from the itching. It was terrible. Anyways, so the next day(today) I spent laying in bed, feeling sorry for myself. Little did I know, that Addi was coming the next day!!! I will post her birth story and if your lucky, one of my labor videos. Don't worry, nothing gross! Haha!

Birthday Lovelies

Today, Addi got several early birthday presents! She got a birthday card from Uncle Dennis today that had Elmo on it. Addi has never seen Elmo before, but she "talked" to her Elmo card and just cheesed for like 10 minutes, so cute! I think we might be needing an Elmo outfit soon, Ashley! Haha!

Addi was having so much fun playing with her sound machine this afternoon! She especially loved the heartbeat sound.

After we got ready, we headed to Searcy! I needed to drop Dixie off at Skipper's and run by Fran's to get a couple of things. But first, we stopped at Mimi and Dennis' for a little visit!

Addi had a BLAST playing with these diapers!




She loved "riding" with Uncle Dennis!


We spent a little time with Great Grandma, Great Grandpa, Grandpa and Lila!



Now onto the lovelies...Fran is an amazing seamstress and surprised me today with 5 smocked outfits! Whoa!!! I had asked her to make a cupcake smocked dress for Addi's birthday (which I'm saving for Sunday) and she made these too!

The brown one has ruffles on the back and there are purple ruffled bloomers for the green one. I'm in love!!!

And...I won this little pretty off of Ebay tonight! It's a Kelly's Kid's dress, but I just couldn't pay $50 for a new one, sorry Addi! But, I'm so excited for her to wear this around Christmas this year!


Oh and we also got Addi's shirt back from Hollie! It. Is. Precious!!!!

Picnic's and Boo-Boo's

This morning, me and Addi ran by our friend Hollie's house to drop off Addi's birthday shirt to be monogrammed. Hollie goes to small group with us on Wednesday nights. She has two little girls and another girl on the way! She is SO talented and I hope she can teach me how to monogram and sew as well as she can! Addi had fun playing with her two little girls and we will definitely be back to play soon!

After we left their house, me and Addi had a picnic with our good friends, Michelle and Lily! We went to this super amazing park that is so close to both of our houses, I'm sad we are just now finding out about it! The only catch is, I don't actually think either one of us live in that certain neighborhood...haha, but it's close enough!


Lily was so sweet and shared her yogurt melts with Addi!

When we got home, I fully expected Addi to just crash out, because it was almost 2 and Addi had been up since 9. I laid her down and listened to her "talk" to her animals for about 30 minutes, before I went and got her. I brought her into the kitchen and sat her down while I was going through the mail. Addi started pushing around one of our kitchen chairs, nothing new, and all of a sudden the chair started tipping with Addi holding onto it! It was like slow motion and I couldn't get over there fast enough, but it ended up landing on top of Addi, more specifically right on her forehead. :( She cried big tears for a couple of minutes, and now she has this little bump on her forehead!

This picture cracks me up, she had a full mouth of goldfish! As you can see, she's not too distressed about it, bumps happen, and this just happened to be our first one! I expect PLENTY more once this little lady starts walking!


Addi finally did take a nap though. :)

Busy Monday

Me and Addi have been from pillar to pole today! We ran so many errands today it was insane. And Addi was so amazing the whole day! Everyone kept commenting on how well behaved she was and the poor thing needed a nap so bad, but she was so good! I just love her!

So yeah, we went to the fair grounds to pick up our Duck Duck Goose check, I sold the jogging stroller, don't judge!!! Haha. We went to Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Stitchin Post, Target then Kroger. Ummm I am worn out and I can't wait till the weather gets cooler so it will be more pleasant when were outside!

Here are a couple of Addi pics. Today marks the start of her birthday week and so her outfits this week will be in the theme of her birthday (pink and green). Am I crazy? Probably. :)



When we were checking out at Target, our cashier who was a teenage boy told us we needed to put Addi in a Gerber baby contest. He then told me he was a gerber baby when he was little and he had the certificate to prove it! I guess I looked questionable about that statement! Haha!




I am starting to get really excited about this weekend! I finally have Addi's shirt figured out and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!!!

Our Weekend

I can't believe I haven't blogged since Wednesday!!! Oh I miss it, but don't worry I'm about to overload you with pictures from this weekend. Haha!

Friday

Our good friends Janelle and Hadley came over to play! Hadley is about 4 months older than Addi and they always have a great time together. Hadley lives in Tulsa now so we were so glad to see them!!!





We went and had lunch with Josh at Hanaroo later on. Both of the girl's were needing a nap and were CRAZY! They were just at that point where they were so tired they were trying to stay as busy as possible! It was a hilarious lunch to say the least!



Later that night, around midnight, Addi decided to wake up and join us for a late night grilled cheese!



Saturday

Saturday morning, Josh made crepes for breakfast! They were delicious!


We watched the Hogs game while Addi napped. It was too close and we were starting to get nervous so Josh told me to go get Addi and put her in a hogs outfit! Haha!

Addi must be a good luck charm because we WON!!!! Yay!


After the game, we went to sweet Weston's first birthday party!!!





After the party, we went back to the house and got ready real quick to head to Texarkana. Addi was so good the whole way and just watched her movie and ate her snacks. We are blessed to have a great traveler! When we got to Texarkana, we met Mur and Granddad at Dixie Diner for some dinner.

When we got home, I tried to put Addi down to go to sleep, but she was not having it. She just kept pointing at the door and crying, like please I know there is stuff going on down there! Haha! So what did we do? Well, we let her stay up till 10 and let her get into whatever she wanted. They weren't kidding when they said grandparents are meant for spoiling! Haha!


That night was....horrible. Addi went to sleep at 10:30, woke up at 1 and then didn't go back to sleep until 4:30!!!! I tried everything, rocking her, laying down with her, even letting her try to cry it out, nothing worked until finally she just got to the point where she was exhausted. Anyways, so we were both pretty cranky the next morning! Haha! She did look pretty cute for church though!


After church and lunch, I tried again to put Addi down for a nap. Same thing, she didn't want to go to sleep even though she was rubbing her eyes and yawning. What a little stinker. Anyways, so we headed to Whitney's baby shower!!! She got tons of cute little boy things and her shower was just the cutest thing ever! Cade's room is western themed so her shower was done up in all things western.

We left the shower and I decided to go ahead and come back home. I was terrified Addi wasn't going to sleep again and I have a lot to get done this week. It was fun seeing everyone and we always love visiting Mur and Granddad! Addi slept the entire way home which was good, she needed a nap so bad! It was a little difficult getting her to go to bed last night, but we finally got her down AND she slept till 9:30 this morning! Yay for sleep!
