Addi's Birthday Weekend Part 1

Well, it's official. Addi-bear is now two whole years old. She had a FABULOUS party and she wants to thank each and every person that came to make it special for her. Thank you!!!!

Let me start out with Thursday...our besties from Tulsa came to town! Janelle and Hadley got in around dinnertime Thursday night to kick off the big celebration weekend. Hadley and Addi got all their energy out by running around the living room and jumping off couches.



P.S. Addi hates the camera these days. :( As in, refuses to smile for most pictures.


Addi wanted to tuck Hadley into bed that night. Sweet friends.


Friday morning, after a long night of Addi not sleeping much, we got ready to go to the zoo! Addi came in our room at about 5, so she was a sleepy girl that morning.


We made a pitstop at Starbucks for some grande pumpkin spice latte's since it was a crisp 61 degrees that morning. Yippee! And then we zoo'd it up with our awesome playgroup.





We went to eat lunch with Josh afterwards and then went home for a quick nap while Janelle and I crafted it up for Addi's party. Janelle is a paper goods wizard and made the birthday banner and cute cupcake toppers, along with stickers for the favor bags. She's pretty awesome. After the girls woke up, we made a quick run to Hobby Lobby for some last minute supplies and then went to Searcy. Emma, Josh's sister, was having a surprise sweet 16 birthday party that we couldn't miss!






Once we got home, Addi got into her special birthday pajamas.



That night, and I'm really embarrassed to admit this...I stayed up till 5 a.m. working. I didn't even MEAN to. It just happened. I walked upstairs thinking it would be 2:30 or 3(my usual bedtime) and was shocked when I saw it was 5!!! I debated pulling an all nighter, but I thought I should probably get rest while I can! Haha! Birthday bear woke up at 8:30 and we cuddled for a little bit before I got up to make her favorite breakfast of, strawberries and sausage balls. Papa, Lila and Ashton came just in time for lunch and brought your favorite, Chickfila! Thankfully, you took a good nap while we finished last minute decorating and little errands.
