Today me and Addi went to the Church at Rock Creek with our play group! That church is ginourmous and so incredible! They have a two story play place that was awesome! There was a little corner that was just for babies and was away from all the bigger kid (rough-housing) playing that was going on, so it was perfect for Addi. I had a great time talking with all the mom's and Addi had a great time too!
Before we left, Addi looked so adorable!
Sweet Lily was waving at Addi in this one.
Lily's momma, Michelle.
By the end of it, Addi could crawl to the top!
Lily was so excited to show me where my ear was! :)
After we got done playing, we ran to the Ronald McDonald House to drop off some auction items. Our tournament is on Monday and the cocktail party with silent auction is Sunday night! I'm so excited, I'm going to be working registration at the party! We came back home and I put Addi down for a nap. When I was walking back towards the kitchen I noticed this view. Does this not look like fall? I can't wait for cooler temps and pumpkin spice lattes!!! So excited!
So I made the cake balls for church. They are addicting! Mine didn't look as pretty as bakerella's, but maybe with a little practice they will one day! We had a great time at our Bible study tonight. It was so good to see everyone again and Addi had a blast playing with Gracie and Hadley and Britton. Addi was a ham tonight also, us girl's were sitting around the dining room table and we went around saying our name and a little about ourselves and at one point we were all laughing and then it got quiet and Addi did a cough/fake laugh and we all laughed at her and then she KEPT doing it! That child LOVES attention! Oh me, I was a little embarrassed!
Tomorrow we are doing a birthday dinner for Addi's grandpa! We are making grilled split chicken with rosemary and garlic, grilled squash, asparagus and corn, and I'm making Pioneer Woman's fluffy new potatoes. For dessert, my chocolate pie. Soooooo excited. Hope y'all had a great day!!!
Homecoming!

She is just too adorable for words!! I miss this age. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteYay! She kept her bow in! LOL! That playplace looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the little green 'n pink dress Addi wore last night!
ReplyDeleteAlso, be glad that Lily was just excited to show you your *ear*. A couple weeks back, she pointed emphatically at my boob, turned to my father-in-law, and shouted, "Boobies! Mommy's boobies!" She does this to me on a regular basis, especially when she's got a large audience of eager listeners.
I'm excited! Thanks for the hint!!
