We had such a great weekend! We didn't really do a whole lot, but those are my favorite kinds of weekends!
Friday consisted mostly of me and Addi staying at the house and entertaining ourselves there. It's getting SO hot outside, that I'm starting to weigh if the situation is worth going outside for. I'm ready for cooler weather! On Friday night we ate dinner at the Oyster Bar. It was very good. I washed all of my new fabric, ironed it and made "plans" for it. Josh played his new video game. Yes, so exciting. Haha!
Saturday, we went to our usual lunch spot, Milford Track. It was wonderful as always!
After lunch, we headed to TJ Maxx, then we hit up Happy Hour on the way out of town, and made our way to Searcy!
We went swimming as soon as we got there, and Addi LOVED the water! We stayed in for close to two hours, she was worn out!
Landon and Cassie came out to hang out with us that night. For dinner, we scavenged the freezers and fridge for something to cook for dinner. Josh grilled pork chops and chicken.
I made green chile and bacon mac and cheese.
And Rhen made peanut butter kisses for dessert! It was so good!
After we got Addi to bed, us girl's sat and drank coffee and talked while the boys fell asleep on the couch upstairs.
Addi slept pretty good that night, she woke up around 2, but went straight back to sleep after a bottle and then woke up for good at 8:30. I made Josh get up with her because he got to sleep in on Saturday, and I really wanted to sleep some more! He's so sweet! I got to sleep in until 10:30 and woke up to a delicious breakfast made by Kyle and Josh. Addi ate two biscuits! We were shocked, but she LOVED them!
We really wanted to get some pictures of Addi with Libby(golden retriever) before we left, so here's what we got.
We headed home after our photo shoot and Addi slept the whole way. We watched Disney movies for the rest of the afternoon and just spent the day being lazy!
Hope y'all had a great weekend!
Homecoming!

Your new fabrics are beautiful! I'm ready for cooler weather as well, it was 95 degrees in Kentucky today!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the world is this Milford Track you keep talking about???
ReplyDeleteHaha Whitney! Milford Track is in this executive building on the west side of Little Rock. It's such a weird location for a restaurant. There is no sign either! We found out about it from a friend of a friend of a friend. I have NO idea why they don't advertise more, because it is so good!
ReplyDeleteOK! OK! OK! I am commenting! ;o) LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, LOVE the blog name...so cute! And speaking of cute, your daughter is absolutely adorable!!!
Nice to "meet" you and I hope to see you again!!
Robin :o) AKA: Alabama Slacker Mama
Sounds like the perfect weekend! Oh, and the last time we went to Milford Track, we had a run-in with one of their attack swans! No joke. A mama swan stood at the bottom of the stairs and hissed and squawked and did whatever else PURE EVIL swans do, and she seriously wouldn't let us down the steps. So swans LOOK all sweet and gentle, sure, but it's all a feathery white facade. I'm sure of it.
ReplyDeleteLove all those fabrics. I need to run out this morning and pick up a few more to finish a little project I've been working on. Your mac and cheese sounds wonderful too!
