A Harry Potter Birthday

Last night, we went to Searcy to celebrate Jeanette's birthday! The kids and Scott went all out for her Harry Potter themed party. They hung lights from the ceiling to make it look like the Hogwarts banquet hall ceiling. They also hung her presents to make it look like they were levitating. So imaginative! Fran cooked a huge turkey dinner and we had SOOO many desserts. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal.



Josh made authentic butterbeer. We were all kinda scared, but it ended up being DELICIOUS!!!




J had no clue! Emma was outside waiting for her, and read her off the same speech that McGonagall gives the students in the first movie.


They even had a sorting hat for her!


Addi had a great time helping us celebrate!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!!

4 years ago today, was one of the BEST days of my life!!! I married my best friend! Josh, you have been the greatest husband to me and the best father to Addi. I love you so much and I can't imagine life without you. :)

Fun at the Park

Today, we went with our playgroup to Allsop Park! It was tons of fun even if it was a little on the cold and windy side. Addi had a great time playing in the sand, I keep thinking if she's around other kids that are walking, surely she'll want to, but alas, she is STILL crawling. She sure looked cute in her turkey shirt though!

Sweet Lily. Lily was SUCH a good girl today! She shared her toys and was very gentle with all the kids. :)

On the way home. Addi is such a big girl now! She's forward facing and drinking out of a cup. So proud.

Best Friends Day!

Today was the BEST day!!! My best friends, Treece and Mia came to visit!!! Treece is in from Charlotte for the week, and Mia was off so we decided to make it a best friends day. We started our day early with the girl's coming over for breakfast. We had sausage balls, cinnamon streusel muffins, Mexican pastries and Mexican hot chocolate!



Once Addi woke up from her nap, we got her ready to go to lunch! It was pretty funny to watch Mia and Treece change Addi's diaper.



We had a great lunch at Mimi's and then we did some shopping! It was such a rainy cold day and we all had boots on, so we dressed Addi to match us. She looked so cute!!!


We went to Starbucks after that and had some fun taking pictures outside.








We decided to walk around a bit more, then head home. We again took more pictures once we got to the house!










After we said our goodbyes, me and Addi played for the rest of the afternoon.




We are so happy that we got to spend the day with two of our favorite people!!!
